Initial training consists of 3-5 day programs depending on aircraft and pilot background. Up to 16 hours of ground instruction and 10 hours of flight training are typically included. Additional flight time can be arranged to meet insurance or safety requirements.
Ground instruction covers aircraft overview, systems, limitations, performance, operating and flying tips, flight profiles, procedures, weight and balance, avionics, adverse weather, high altitude operations and decision making.
Flight instruction includes normal and emergency procedures, avionics review, VFR and IFR procedures and actual cross county flights. Scenario based training is heavily utilized. All flight training is conducted in the customer's aircraft with the specific avionics and aircraft configuration to be flown long term.
