Recurrent training is a 1-2 day program depending on aircraft and pilot proficiency. The training consists of up to 8 hours of ground instruction and up to 6 hours of flight instruction.
A review of systems and limitations, normal and emergency procedures, flight profiles, avionics, adverse weather and recent events is completed during ground training.
Flight training includes VFR, IFR, normal and emergency procedures.
The participant's flight experience throughout the past year is reviewed. An assessment of aircraft knowledge and flying capabilities, strengths and weaknesses is made. The training syllabus is covered; however, time is concentrated where needed most. Scenario based training is heavily utilized.
Biennial flight reviews and instrument proficiency checks are available.
